WooCommerce Development

High-traffic stores, complex catalogues and custom checkout flows, engineered where off-the-shelf WooCommerce runs out.

Typically from
$15,000
Typical timeline
6 to 16 weeks

WooCommerce is excellent until the catalogue gets large, the pricing gets conditional, or the checkout has to talk to an ERP. Then the default architecture starts to show: unindexed meta queries, a cart that recalculates on every request, and a plugin stack where three extensions all try to own the same hook.

We work on the stores where that has already happened. That means moving product data into properly indexed structures, replacing meta-heavy queries with lookup tables, introducing object caching that is actually invalidated correctly, and untangling plugin conflicts so checkout stops dropping orders under load.

For B2B we build the parts WooCommerce does not ship: customer-specific price lists, quote-to-order flows, purchase-order payment, tiered and volume pricing, account hierarchies, and product configurators that validate against real business rules.

What the engagement includes

High-traffic performance work

Query profiling, object caching, index design and load testing before a launch or a peak season.

Complex catalogue modelling

Large variation sets, attribute-driven navigation and search that stays fast past ten thousand products.

Custom checkout and payment flows

Multi-step checkout, purchase orders, deposits, subscriptions and gateways beyond the standard set.

B2B configurators

Rule-driven product builders with live pricing, validation and quote generation.

ERP and fulfilment integration

Stock, pricing and order sync with the systems that run your operation.

What you receive

Every engagement ends with artefacts you own, not a login to something we control.

  • Store codebase in your repository
  • Load-test results against your peak traffic profile
  • Checkout and payment flow documentation
  • Integration runbooks and failure handling
  • Staff training for order operations
  • 30-day post-launch warranty

WooCommerce Development: common questions

Our store slows down during sales. Can you fix that?

Usually yes, and it is rarely the hosting. The common causes are uncached cart fragments, unindexed meta queries on product listings, and plugins doing expensive work on every page load. We profile the real bottleneck before quoting a fix.

Can you migrate us from Shopify or Magento?

Yes. We handle product, customer and order migration, URL mapping with 301 redirects, and a staged cutover so you are not down during the switch.

Do you support Subscriptions and Memberships?

Yes, including the awkward parts: proration, failed-payment recovery, plan changes mid-cycle, and the reporting finance teams actually ask for.
